How we help if the VA can’t meet your care needs on time or nearby
The Veterans Choice Program exists to give veterans access to community providers when:
The nearest VA medical facility cannot schedule an appointment within 30 days of a clinically required date.
The veteran lives more than 40 miles driving distance from the nearest VA facility with a full-time primary care physician.
Or when travel to a VA facility involves serious burden due to geography, environment or health condition.
Dr. Dana is one of the select few certified Community Care Network providers in Illinois.
